According to statistics of the General Department of Customs, the export value of textile and garment significant reduced in February 2012, of which, exports to the U.S. fell 6.48% and exports to the EU decreased 25.66 %. Besides the U.S. and EU - 2 largest export market of Vietnam, a variety of other countries have cut imports of textile products such as Canada (18.7%), Russia (38.61 %), Mexico (43.2%).
